I looked deep into his beautiful dark brown eyes
His voice filled my ears, his words were all I could focus on.
The smell of rain and paper, and the rough grip on my pencil were in the back of my mind.
A sour taste filled my mouth in the absence of what to say.

No one’s perfect
No one lives a perfect life
But try to make it the best it
can be
The is the philosophy life
To share the despair
And to make everyone’s life just
a little bit better
Take all of the positivity
Leave all of the negativity
Take what you have
And be happy
Celebrate with who you love
Eat all you want
Don’t let anyone tell you wrong
Celebrate others
Celebrate yourself
Celebrate those you hate
Celebrate those who taught you
Celebrate those who brought you
here.

The leaves begin to fall
Right to the cold earth
The wind howling
I lie awake at night
Thinking of a better time
The leaves
lie on the ground
The wind no longer disturbing
The cold is almost unbearable
I stand there thinking
The wind blows uncontrollably
The cold is not so bad
The leaves stay piled around my feet
My thoughts lie there
I am still thinking
I lie near the ground
The leaves provide a cushion
The wind whips around me
Leaving a cold chill to run down my spine
Am I left thinking
alone again
I am no longer cold
I am no longer thinking
The leaves no longer
Lie there
The wind no longer blows
